I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician for dogs and cats who's recently fallen in love with making up-cycled jewelry. I find it helps me to unwind and is completely different than my day job. It can sometimes be hit or miss when you have ideas of how things will work but it is so rewarding when you figure out the best use and it looks great too! My current obsession is toothbrushes but I hope to expand my line to include many more household items that get discarded.
My husband Richard is very creative and currently works in large format printing. I appreciate how supportive he is and most projects would not be finished well without his input. We have 2 dogs, Gracie and Weebles, and 3 cats, Fluffy, Maggie, and Yoko. We hope someday soon to open a business together that will showcase both his art and my crafts. We dream of living in a Yurt in the country with a screened in porch.
